RTIP Alum Bob Baffert Celebrates his 5th Kentucky Derby Win

Congratulations to RTIP alumni Bob Baffert for yet another win in the World’s most iconic horse race, the Kentucky Derby. The win by Justify marks Baffert’s 5th trip to the Churchill Downs Winner’s Circle to receive the garland of roses. His other wins came in 2015 with American Pharoah, 2002 with War Emblem, 1998 with Real Quiet and 1997 with Silver Charm.
The win makes Baffert the second winningest trainer in Derby history behind Ben Jones whose horses were victorious in the race six times between the years 1938 and 1952.
